Jorunn Sjølli from Tribal Troopers is the first in Norway to be granted the American Tribal Style teacher certification by Carolena Nericcio, director of FatChanceBellyDance and the person who developed ATS.

Jorunn worked hard for this diploma and is extremely pleased with herself.

Jorunn Sjølli is granted the General Skills Certification from the director of FatChanceBellyDance, Carolena Nericcio.

Three days of hard work learning functional anatomy for dance, music theory for Tribal Style, zill patterns, all the 70+ different movements with cues and transitions, group formations plus tips and tricks along the way.

It has also been interesting to hear about the thoughts behind the different movements. For example, the Sahra Turn is inspired by Jane Russel, Ava Gardner and Audrey Hepburn!

The class with people from 12 nations including Carolena and Megha were very happy looking at the certification paper being signed by Carolena and Megha.
