American Tribal Style ATS, slow movements, with Jorunn Sjølli
Open class
Price: 350 NOK

Description: In the vocabulary of slow Tribal movements the inspiration from Flamenco and Indian Temple dance is very distinct even if the Middle Eastern and North African movements are the core of the dance. The focus will be on taxim, undulations, floreos as well as complex steps. We will work on the rank, open and welcoming posture that is so significant for Tribal.

Description: Get ready for a fun introduction to the tribal method. Try this unique and multi-cultural way of dancing! This class is a good basis for further classes this weekend. Be inspired, develop your improvisation skills and get a taste of the dance that is super popular in Europe and the United States!

Persian dance technique, with Sophia Mirlashari

Price: 250 NOK

Description: We will work with the Persian rhythm and footwork. You will get an introduction to the many different dance styles such as Persian banderi, baluchisk, baba refract and classical Persian dance. The goal is to find inspiration in the strength and agility of the Persian dance.

Dark Fusion technique, with Callisto
Open class, minimum level requirements: at least 2 semesters of Oriental or Tribal dance
Price: 250 NOK

Description: In this workshop we will work with isolation of the sharp, fast movements as well as different slow dance techniques. We combine this in an effectfull dance and work with attitude and personal expression.

Tribal Workshop: How to “tribalize” Egyptian moves, with Sophia Mirlashari
Open class
Price: 350 NOK

Description: This class is aimed at those who have experience with Oriental dance and who wants to broaden their dance vocabulary, hence “tribalize” Egyptian movements. Classic Egyptian movements such as drop’n’kick, camels, Semih and haggallas, are fitted into the Tribal Fusion format. The class includes different dance techniques and short combinations.

Swords choreography and technique, with Callisto
Open class, minimum level requirements: at least 2 semesters of Oriental or Tribal Dance
Price: 350 NOK

Description: We will review a sword choreography. The sword is used both as a frame, as a beautiful object and as a weapon in the dance. We will work with different techniques espesially fit for sword dancing and also what you should think of when handling a dangerous weapon. Bring a balanced dance sword or a substitute such as a cane.

Dark Fusion choreography, with Callisto
Open class, minimum level requirements: at least 2 semesters of Oriental or Tribal Dance

Description: The aim of this choreography class is to give the dance a different feel by working with personal expression.

Persian dance choreography, with Sophia Mirlashari
Open class
Price: 350 NOK

Description: classical Persian dance often imitates old and beautiful miniature paintings and is very expressive. It has  a fast and demanding footwork.
